Profile

Michael is a Senior Project Management Consultant and Preconstruction Manager with over 18 years’ experience in the construction industry, spanning civil, commercial, environmental and infrastructure projects across the UK, Australia and the Middle East. He brings a process-driven, delivery-focused approach to complex programmes, combining deep technical knowledge in preconstruction planning, P6 scheduling and NEC4 contract administration with practical stakeholder engagement and team leadership.

Delivery

Since joining Vistas Rathmore, Michael has led preconstruction and project management consultancy services on major programmes across the GCC region. He leads bid strategy and preparation for high-profile commissions developing detailed construction programmes, commercial pricing structures, resource deployment plans and risk assessments to support major contract awards across the GCC.

Foundation

Michael’s consultancy capabilities are underpinned by substantial direct delivery experience at scale. As Associate Director at Jacobs, he project managed the planning, consenting and environmental workstreams on the £2.5bn West Yorkshire Mass Transit, the £1.2bn River Thames Scheme, alongside DCO material amendment work on Hinkley Point C and strategic flood infrastructure on the Humber 2100+ programme. Prior to this, he spent seven years in Sydney delivering civil engineering portfolios across data centres, residential, civil and infrastructure projects, managing programmes encompassing earthworks, retaining structures, stormwater infrastructure and contaminated land remediation. This breadth of hands-on delivery across multiple sectors, contract forms and regulatory environments strengthens his ability to add value on the complex programmes typical of the GCC market.
